SUPRISE DROP: TRAVIS SCOTT X AIR JORDAN 1 LOW “BLACK PHANTOM” RECAP
In true amongst few fashion, the brand decided to take to the back streets of automobile work shop paradise, Al Quoz, for a surprise drop of the highly anticipated Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 low “Black Phantom” sneakers. Nestled in a fully functioning automobile workshop, amongst few parked up a classic 1998’s Daihatsu Rocky, synonymous with its regions locals, packed full of sneaker boxes. Setting up shop, the brand broadcasted the location of the drop via Instagram stories with the tag line “first find, first serve”. As people found their way to the pop-up, any way they could, the release soon mounted up to over 300 people, awaiting their chance to purchase possibly this years most talked about release.
