SOLE DXB 2017 (RECAP)

This last week saw Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Kareem ‘Biggs’ Burke and amongst few drop a twelve piece capsule collection at the 6th regional street culture fair, Sole DXB. Immersed in the sound of Jay-Z’s iconic Reasonable Doubt, the 12” LP took center stage within the black on black space honoring the life and times of ’96 Jay-Z.

Over an extensive weekend, the amongst few space was graced by Roc affiliates Pusha-T, Don C, Upscale Vandal alongside native New Yorkers and cultural OG’s Mayor, Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Garcia to witness both brands reappropriate what is arguably the world most recognizable logo in music for the Middle East.
